When life hands you lemons – make limoncello!

Just to whet your whistle, I did start the first batch of limoncello, so that should be ready by Thanksgiving.  Both lemons and Bearrs limes were coarsely grated, then a hot simple syrup was poured over, then the vodka, capped, and now we wait.  The Indian lemon pickle or Moroccan preserved lemons are also waiting, so I rounded up both of the patient products for a group shot.  Of course the lovely and spectacular Ponderosa lemon had to be in the shot, when she heard it was all about citrus.
