Marmalade, meet one of your new best friends: Chocolate!

Lee L is either intent on inspiring us with this or simply making us drool with envy.  She made the brilliant introduction of our Co-op traditional mixed marmalade (sweet oranges and lemons) to bittersweet chocolate, and further enhanced their relationship by putting everybody on puff pastry and topping them with creme fraiche.  I mean, gilding the lily!  So despite the fact that it is time for a cup of tea and you may also be feeling a bit peck-ish, here is the glamour shot of this very fine creation.

From Lee:  I made puff pastry with chocolate (some with dark chocolate/60% cacao and some with bittersweet chocolate& Oaxacan chillies) I put a dollop of creme fraiche and our ‘traditional mixed marmalade’ !!! It was fabulous! Made nine of them and the three of us had lattes, milk and three apiece!

Kudos, and that addition of Oaxacan chile??  Rock on!
